Privacy Policy

Effective date: January 15, 2026 • Last updated: January 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Nivro (“Nivro”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit nivro.io and when you use our products, including the Nivro web app, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you understand that we will process information as described in this policy.

Nivro is a content automation platform. Users can connect third-party accounts (such as Pinterest) to create, schedule, and publish content from within Nivro. This policy is designed to satisfy common requirements for OAuth and developer integrations, and to provide clear guidance about what data we handle and why.

1) Information we collect

We collect information in three main ways: (a) information you provide directly, (b) information collected automatically when you use the Service, and (c) information we receive from third-party services you choose to connect.

  • Account and identity information. When you create an account or sign in, we may collect your name, email address, and authentication details (for example, OAuth sign-in provider identifiers). We do not collect your third-party passwords.
  • Workspace settings and automation configuration. We store settings you choose (for example, scheduling times, destination preferences, selected Pinterest boards, and automation rules) so the Service can run the workflows you configure.
  • Support communications. If you contact us, we collect the content of your message and any information you provide (including attachments) to troubleshoot and respond.
  • Usage and log data. We may collect information such as IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, timestamps, and diagnostic logs. This helps us operate the Service, maintain security, and improve performance.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies (or similar storage) for essential functions like authentication, security, and user preferences. Where required, we will provide appropriate cookie choices.

2) Connected third-party services (example: Pinterest)

If you choose to connect a third-party service, that connection is handled through OAuth authorization. This means you authorize Nivro to access limited data and perform actions on your behalf according to the permissions you approve. For Pinterest, depending on the scopes you grant, Nivro may receive and process:

  • OAuth tokens. We receive access tokens (and where available, refresh tokens) that allow Nivro to perform Pinterest actions you request, such as reading boards and creating Pins.
  • Account identifiers and basic metadata. For example, a Pinterest account ID and basic account information needed to display the integration status.
  • Boards information. Board IDs and names to allow you to select where a Pin should be published.
  • Publishing results. Pin IDs, status, and error messages returned by Pinterest when you publish or schedule content through the Service.

You can revoke an integration at any time from the third-party service (for example, Pinterest settings) or by disconnecting the integration in Nivro (when available). Once revoked, Nivro can no longer access that account, and scheduled actions requiring that access will fail unless you reconnect.

3) How we use information

  • To provide and operate the Service (create accounts, authenticate users, store preferences, and run automations you configure).
  • To enable integrations (connect third-party accounts and execute requested actions like creating or scheduling Pins).
  • To provide support (respond to questions, troubleshoot issues, and communicate with you).
  • To improve and secure the platform (monitor performance, debug errors, prevent fraud and abuse, and enhance features).
  • To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights and the safety of our users.

4) How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as necessary to operate the Service, including:

  • Service providers. We may share information with trusted vendors that help us host, secure, maintain, and support the platform (for example, infrastructure hosting, email delivery, logging/monitoring, and customer support tools). These providers are required to protect your information and use it only to provide services to Nivro.
  • Third-party platforms you connect. When you publish or schedule content, we send necessary requests to the connected platform (such as Pinterest) using the authorization you granted.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law or if we believe in good faith it is necessary to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.

5) Data retention

We retain information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Integration tokens are retained while the integration is active and removed when you disconnect or request deletion, subject to technical and legal constraints.

6) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information, including HTTPS encryption in transit and access controls. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

7) Your choices and rights

  • Access, update, or delete. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
  • Disconnect integrations. You can revoke third-party access at any time through the connected service (e.g., Pinterest) or within Nivro (when available).
  • Cookies. You can control cookies via your browser settings. Some cookies are essential for the Service to function.

8) Third-party links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Please review their policies directly.

9) Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice.
